Little Girls' Designer Clothing & Accessories - Choosing a Great Birthday Gift

Making a decision to buy designer birthday gifts can be a bit of a headache, but, when it's for a little girl, life becomes a lot easier. At around 4 years old, they are aware of looking pretty, love to dress up and start noticing mummy's lipstick and powder, so buying designer birthday gifts for a little girl can be quite a nice experience as there are so many ideas to look at. For now we are going to consider some little girls' designer clothing ideas.

Is a dress made of neckties appropriate for an ABC party?
I made a dress out of neckties (sewn together) for an Anything But Clothes party. Are ties considered ‘clothing’?
I included a link of my inspiration. It looks very similar.

Id say that ties are considered clothing. and considering it actually looks like clothes, it defeats the purpose.

My friend got a big bag and put herself inside it, with ribbon as the straps.
for her head she put a party hat on, then for the shoes she had flats and put ribbon on the top of it to tie the outfit together.

Dont do the usual toga thing, its really hot, plus annoying to figure out how to cover up certain parts.

LGBT: Appropriate clothes for a party?
So, tonight is one of my good, friend’s fifteenth birthday party, my girlfriend and I have been invited to go to her dinner party. Soooo, the thing is that EVERY girl who is going is expected to wear a dress, as it is sort of semi-formal/casual. I’m not really into girly clothes though, i NEVER wear dresses or skirts.I had planned on wearing nice jeans and a very nice shirt, but my friend was very unenthusiastic. so i was wondering if you though what i am going to wear is okay.

It’s not this cardi, but a vintage one that i own, it looks sorta like this-

Dress ( i dont often do dresses, but this is one look pretty good on me, or so i’m told)

    Jeans-

so, do you think i’m silly for letting my girlfriend dress me??

If it’s your friends birthday, then just be nice and let her have what she wants, even if it is going to break a couple of legs :P She’ll feel a lot better that you’re willing to do something for her, even if you don’t want to.

What are some creative consequences for people who don’t wear appropriate clothes to a themed party? Ideas? ?
I am having a “cocktail party” and cocktail attire was clearly announced in the invites. I need a funny consequence for the people who do not attend in the proper attire. Any ideas will be appreciated :)

      Hmmm, good question!

Well, if it were me, I would have offenders be forced to wear a toga–bust out the bed sheets and belts and have at it! If you do not have enough bed sheets for offenders, then maybe make them wear some of your PJs or sweatpants and old t-shirts so that they really stand out as offenders. Good luck!

Well it says in the letter to wear party clothes.
    Do you have any suggestions?
