Destination Wedding Couples
Author: Amber Joseph
Getting married at exotic getaways is one of the dreams of the couples of modern days. Thus destination wedding couples are dreaming big and setting new parameters for their wedding to make it a highly memorable and exclusive lifetime event accompanied with grandeur and splendor. The attractive Mexican coastlines not only lure the cabo san lucas wedding couples to travel to premier locations and celebrate their wedding but spend their honeymoon as well.
Getting hold of an efficient wedding planner is the first step of their venture. The wedding planner works in conformity with the couple and attempts to strike the best balance between all the activities and programs related to the wedding. One of Mexicoâs largest wedding destinations, Los Cabos is a coupleâs perennial heartthrob. In their endeavor of making their wedding one of the most memorable events of their lives, the Los Cabos bride and groom grab attractive wedding locations which can eventually be the best setting for their wedding photography too. The beautiful Mexican villas urge the couple to pose for their romantic moments.
Along with efficient photography, the wedding bride and groom pay special attention to floral arrangements some of which are upscale. Made of fresh and often silk flowers, these weddings bouquets render a touch of elegance and sophistication to the dream day of the couple.
Choosing the flamboyant Mexican beach, automatically paves the way for rich wedding Music, often Mariachi, the genre that is closely related to weddings. The rhythm and tune of Mariachi music make the wedding couple dance in ecstasy and enjoy every single moment of their togetherness with each other and all those near and dear to them.
The destination wedding couples pay heed to every subtlety concerned with their wedding so as to give the ultimate touch of perfection to their D day. However, it must be noted that while planning destination wedding, the couple is particularly concerned about gathering the elderly members of their families, as no festivity is complete without their presence!
The bride and groom eagerly participate in deciding their wedding attire based on themes and colors of their specific choice.
A concoction of music, photography, floral designs, theme attire and above all the gaiety of the celebration make the dreams of the wedding couple come true. Their dream day and exclusive moments are captured in photographs and videos which they cherish lifelong. Hence they always prefer ace photographers and videographers to record their wedding proceedings and celebration moments. The attractive wedding location later becomes their honeymoon spot and gives the ultimate touch of glory to their wedding. So they grab the most handsome wedding package and fulfill their desires of a memorable wedding. They travel hundreds of miles to tie the nuptial knot and make every step of their togetherness exclusive.
As far as destination weddings are concerned, cabo wedding couples can truly brag by saying that their marriages have been made in heaven!
Destination Wedding and Gifts ?
Hi,
My friend is getting married in July and we are all flying to an All in Inclusive Resort in Mexico for the wedding (there are about 50 of us)
Anyways each guest is paying $1500 Cdn for themselves, plus me and my other half are both in the wedding party and have to buy our wedding attire ( my dress was 250, plus shoes and plus another 60 for alterations) we are still yet to find out home much the suit for my bf is going to be-
Anyways _ Im not keen on taking my only vacation week to go to Mexico in July but she’s my friend and I didn’t say anything
Now the bride tell’s me that tomorrow she is going to register for gifts for her wedding-
I think it’s a little tacky to ask for gifts considering all the guests are paying over 1500 to go to her wedding, she’s not helping the wedding party with any of there expenses and now they are asking for gifts- Am I wrong to be annoyed with this ?
P.s I found out that the bride and groom are staying for free at the hotel as a perk- and they are barely paying over 4000 for their entire wedding ( the only reason I say this is because it seems like they are asking alot from others but giving very little)
Any suggestions ?
I don’t necessarily think it’s tacky to have a gift registry, but what would be tacky is if she doesn’t include a wide range of prices for the gifts. And even then, you still only give what you can afford. If the items on the registry are too expensive, then find something cheap or on sale at home and give her that.
It’s not required that a bride help with any of the expenses listed, though. Also, she shouldn’t be expecting a shower and bach party, etc….not for this kind of wedding.
Groom’s attire, dark jeans with sports coat or a full suite?
My dress is a destination style wedding dress, I want to keep the wedding pretty casual. It is an outdoor wedding at the lake. I like the idea of a sports jacket with dark jeans but my mother-in-law to be is not digging it. Does anyone have suggestions? Is having dark jeans not a good idea?
Hopefully your fiance is a grown man. If that’s the case, let him pick his own clothes. What does he want to wear?

Have you thought about how you will look standing next to someone in jeans? I personally wouldn’t do it. A casual suit or khakis are best.
Help with groom’s attire for informal wedding?
I want a fairly casual dress, something out of the “destination” sections that isn’t puffy and is more sleek and simple. We have been thinking that groom and groomsmen won’t wear suits… just nice shirts and khakis…
Has anyone done this instead of tuxes, did it look ok? Got any pics of guys dressed informal?
Thanks!
Hi and congratulations on your upcoming wedding!
Even though you are not having a beach wedding, I just love the photos on this site. There are so many options of clothes pictured. You will get an idea of how nice a dress shirt and khakis look with a bridal gown ….very nice!
Good luck! Here is the link:

Well, you didn’t mention an island so I’ll give you some for each.
Kauai:
-Kilauea Lighthouse has large grassy area with the lighthouse and overlooks the water.
-Poipu Beach is free and the beach is beautiful
Oahu:
-Kailua Beach Park is one of the most beautiful beaches anywhere.
-Magic Island overlooks Diamond Head and the Ala Wai Yacht Harbor. It can be busy during the day, so it’s best in the late afternoon or for a sunset wedding.
Maui:
-Kahekili Beach Park has sand and a grassy area.
-Makena Cove has black sand with Molokini Island in the background.
The Big Island:
-Hapuna Beach is big but can be busy during the day.
-Richardson State Park is big and very pretty.
Molokai:
-Halawa Beach on Halawa Bay has black sand and waterfalls.
Lanai:
-Hulopo’e Beach and Bay is very pretty.
Your wedding attire can be what ever you would like. Usually a beach wedding is less formal, you want to wear something comfortable and looser fitting. You can see http://www.hawaii-wedding-guide.com/beach-wedding-dress.html for a lot of options and info.
Good luck. I’m sure it will be beautiful with whatever you choose, and lots of fun as well.
